Donations
Donations have been collected to cover both Misty and Rocky's veterinary bills. However, we receive numerous requests each week to assist other animals in our community that need desperate help. We hope you will consider a donation to help other animals in our program. Reward Fund
We are currently seeking volunteers to help distribute reward posters. Please email spayandneuterkc@aol.com or call 816-353-0940 if you can help. Tips or information should be directed to the Kansas City Missouri Police Department or Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
Information may be reported anonymously, however a $7,500 reward is currently being offered by SNKC for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for both dogs injuries.

Adoption
Both Misty and Rocky are available for adoption through the Kansas City Missouri Animal Health and Public Safety Department. All adoption calls and inquiries should be directed to 816-513-9800.
We are touched by the generous community support and ask everyone to please also remember the thousands of dogs and cats available in your area shelters as well. Many of these dogs and cats have similar backgrounds; some come from homes of neglect or abuse and most are simply unwanted. These dogs and cats are not given as much time needed to find the perfect home. They desperately need your love and welcoming arms. We are confident these dogs will find a wonderful home, but many pets are not so lucky. SNKC encourages you to visit your local shelter and consider adopting a dog or cat in either of these dogs honor.

Adoption Statement from Wayside Waifs - KCMO
Wayside Waifs has 200 to 300 wonderful animals in our shelter each and every day who are waiting to find new homes. Each one comes with its own story of hardship, abuse, neglect or abandonment. And there are so many more out there waiting for a space to become available in our shelter so that we can help them find a new, loving place to call home. Shelter animals - just like Misty - are the best you can find. We have the largest selection of animals in the area – from purebreds to mutts, all ages and sizes. Many are housebroken and already know a few tricks. We offer much more value and provide much more support than a pet store or breeder, while helping to reduce animal overpopulation and saving the lives of animals all over our community. The more we can get adopted, the more we can save. Please help us help them by encouraging your friends and family to adopt a shelter pet.

SNKC is a non-profit organization formed to promote spay and neutering as a primary means of decreasing the tragic pet overpopulation problem.
