SNKC Paws For A Cause
Spay and Neuter Kansas City is kicking off their first year for the “SNKC Paws for A Cause” program. Many local businesses in the area are supporting this program to help spay and neuter efforts in Kansas City. For only one, five or ten dollars, your customers/co-workers can purchase a Paw Print to be displayed in your store/business. Each Paw Print sold will help raise funds to help spay and neuter pets in need in the Kansas City area.
Spay and Neuter Kansas City is committed to decreasing pet overpopulation by providing low-cost and free spay and neuter services to pet owners who cannot otherwise afford these services.
Nearly 15,000 dogs and cats are killed in our area shelters each year simply because there are too many animals and not enough homes. Spay and Neuter Kansas City has a goal of providing 10,000 spay and neuters in 2007. This number will dramatically impact pet overpopulation in Kansas City. Achieving our goals will reduce the number of animals entering our area shelters and decrease the number of animals killed.
